Established in 2007, Walnut Studios, is a community of artists brought together with the intention of offering a great place to work, create and promote each other.

Our mission is to CREATE, CONNECT and INSPIRE Toronto.

Walnut Studios is a collection of four bright art studios within a vintage industrial building located in the heart of Toronto’s downtown core across from Stanley Park. 

In the beautiful Niagara neighbourhood, these four unique interconnected art studios offer openness and a creative vibe which is highly conducive to inspiration for artists. 

Twice a year Walnut Studios opens the door to the neighbouring community to come into the space, see the artists work and experience the artistic process first hand.

Throughout the past five years, Walnut has also offered community arts education including: Beginner Painting Classes, Drawing Classes, Landscape Painting Classes, Life Drawing, and Kids Classes.

Also, Walnut Studios has also been the host of many artistic endeavors such as; interactive theatre, pop up galleries, charity fundraisers, magazine launches, film screenings, movie shoots and youth workshops.

Spaces range from 199.00 per month to 349.00 per month

Artist's can choose between a six month lease and a one year lease.
